We have always been passionate about music. All genres, Punk to Hip-Hop, Pop to Metal, there is no music snobbery here!
In 2017, we started our clothing brand Save Our Souls, which was heavily influenced by our love of music and tattoo culture. There was also the fact that we realised that most of our money was spent on t-shirts, so if we made our own, they would be cheaper (solid business plan!).
We started off in a very small shed and within a year had moved in to a purpose built premises and warehouse, where we were printing and fulfilling hundreds of items a day. The response was amazing and our audience really seemed to embrace the fact that we designed what we wanted, refused to conform and didn't take any nonsense from the Kens and Karens of the internet.
Fast forward to 2023 and we realised something: we spend way too much money on records! So, as I am sure you can guess, we decided to open a record store so we didn't have to pay as much for our own. We really are simple creatures!
Our first store opened in November 2023 and is a combination of everything the Save Our Souls brand has become known for: Music, Clothing & Art.
2026 sees us relocating to a much larger venue in Essex. While this takes place we have partnered up with our friends Morley's Music, one of the finest guitar shops in the land, to hold a selection of our stock while this takes place. They are located a few doors down from our old Leigh store at 4 Rectory Grove!
